    Quickstart

Outcome: one connected system and one traceable answer.

By the end of this page you will have a workspace with one connected data source and one Decision Brief that cites the rows behind its numbers.

    Steps

    1. 1

      Create your workspace

Register at app.signld.ai with your work email. Name the workspace after your company, not your team, so it stays correct as more people join. See workspaces and seats.

    2. 2

      Connect a read-only source

Pick the system that holds the numbers you argue about most, usually accounting or CRM. Authenticate with a read-only role. Full steps in add a connection. On the Free plan, upload a CSV or Excel file instead.

    3. 3

      Wait for the first sync

SIGNLD reads schema and rows, resolves entities across systems, and starts building your Knowledge Graph in the background. A first sync on a single source usually finishes in minutes.

    4. 4

      Create a Decision Topic

Name the thing you are tracking, for example cash runway or gross margin by location, and attach the metrics and rules that define it. See build a Decision Topic.

    5. 5

Ask a question and read the Brief

Ask in plain language. SIGNLD returns an answer, a confidence level, the sources behind it, and a recommended action. Learn to read it in read and share a Decision Brief.

    Good first questions

    • Which customers drove the change in revenue last month, and by how much?
    • Where did gross margin move most across locations this quarter?
    • Which open invoices are past terms, and what is the total exposure?

    Tip

Ask questions that name a metric, a time window, and a grouping. Vague questions produce vague answers on any platform.

    If something looks wrong

    • Open the sources on the Brief and check the rows. Most surprises are real data, not model error.
    • If a definition is wrong, correct the rule on the Topic rather than rephrasing the question.
    • If a source looks stale, check refresh cadence for your plan.
