Getting started
How long does setup take?
Connect your first system in 15 minutes and get your first answer in minutes after the sync completes. Expect a genuinely useful Topic by the end of week one.
Do we need a data team?
No. SIGNLD proposes entities, metrics, and relationships from your connected systems, and a business owner confirms them. There is no modelling project to fund first.
Can we start without connecting live systems?
Yes. The Free Forever plan works from CSV, Excel, JSON, or pasted data, with two manual-upload sources and no credit card.
What should the first Decision Topic be?
The decision you make every month and argue about every month. Cash runway, margin by location, and on-time delivery are common first Topics.
Data and connections
Which systems does SIGNLD connect to?
800+ connectors across accounting, CRM, POS, field service, ecommerce, HR, PSA, and ITSM, with premium connectors powered by Fivetran. Anything without a connector can be uploaded.
Can SIGNLD change data in our systems?
No. Connections are read-only by design. SIGNLD requests read scopes only and never writes back to a source system.
Why do the same customers appear twice?
Entity resolution needs confirmation. Correct the proposed match once at the entity level and every future answer uses the merged entity.
Why do my numbers look stale?
Refresh cadence follows your plan: manual or weekly on Free, and daily automated on Growth and above. You can also trigger a manual sync at 1 credit per source per run.
Answers and accuracy
Why does an answer disagree with our spreadsheet?
Usually a definition difference. Open the sources on the Brief, compare the rows used, then fix the metric definition on the Topic so the answer is consistent from then on.
What does the confidence level mean?
It summarises data coverage, freshness, and how cleanly the question mapped to confirmed definitions. Low confidence is a prompt to check which source is missing.
Can I see where every number came from?
Yes. Each figure links to the source systems and rows behind it, and lineage is stored with the answer so a past Brief stays explainable.
Why is SIGNLD better at this than a general AI chat tool?
A general model guesses at your business and you re-prompt until it is close. SIGNLD answers from your connected data using your confirmed definitions, with every number traced to source.
Billing and credits
Do you charge per seat?
No. Seats are unlimited on every plan. Activity is metered at 2.5 credits per active day per seat.
What consumes credits?
A chat turn is 1 credit, a Decision Brief is 5, a connector sync is 1 per source per run, a full re-ingest is 10, and an active seat is 2.5 per day.
Can we get a surprise bill?
No. A plan cannot exceed its allocation without a top-up, soft limits warn admins, and a hard limit stops metered work at the ceiling you set.
Security
Is our data encrypted?
Yes. AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, on US-based AWS infrastructure, under a SOC 2 Type II programme.
Do you train on our data?
No. SIGNLD is never trained on your data. Inference runs on a single-tenant AWS Bedrock instance.
What do Enterprise plans add for compliance?
A HIPAA BAA, a GDPR DPA, custom data residency across US, EU, UK, and APAC, and a dedicated single-tenant VPC.
